Candied Bacon Recipe

½ pound thick cut bacon
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
½ tablespoon cinnamon
½ tablespoon ginger
½ teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cayenne
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon butter
Directions:
Mix together sugar and spices in a medium sized bowl.
Melt butter in a heavy-bottom skillet over medium heat.
Dredge bacon in spices and fry for 5-6 minutes per side. Transfer to a rack to cool, and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
